Moorland Mittens at Chilliwack Lake

A few days ago myself and a good friend went out to Chilliwack Lake to see the sights and take some photos of these beautiful Moorland Mittens. It was a classic pnw day, with overcast skies, and the mountains around the lake peeking out from under the clouds.

The mittens that this shoot was for are designed and made by my cousin, Ruth. Ruth is a maker, a creative, and an entrepreneur. She's got so many exciting ideas that she's making happen right now, which I'll be sharing more about soon. She designed these mittens and sells the pattern online, so if you're a knitter (if not, you should start being one), you can buy the pattern and make yourself a pair here.

I'll be sharing more about some of the amazing things Ruth is doing in launching her business Raincloud & Sage Yarn soon, but for now, here's a few photos from the day.
